This is an original song about little orphan Annie. In the musical, Annie sings a song called “The Sun Will Come Tomorrow”. Sometimes things don’t go so well and the sun takes a little bit longer to come out.
“Hoping Against Hope”
This song comes from my weekly YouTube Song Challenge series. It’s about two little girls with Cystic Fibrosis. Bayleigh is 16 and currently on a double lung transplant. Marinna is 14 and her illness hasn’t progressed as far, but she is very much aware of what’s in her future.
“Happiness”
During the summer of 2010 I was able to join a team of 12 people that went out to find the “Roots of Happiness” in an orphanage in Nyeri, Kenya. Living with children who seemingly have nothing. . . seem to have the most important thing of all, genuine happiness.
